Nestled just outside of the Isimangaliso Wetlands park, Blackrock Lodge is a completely off-grid Private Lodge. With just over 3kW of Solar Panels linked to a Schneider based inverter and Solar MD Battery, this system has been running seamlessly for more than 5 years through good equipment and stringent maintenance. The largest risk on site is proximity to the coast, which has been mitigated through diligent maintenance.
